Hi all,
I installed the winkit.zip file and the trucker game from Jim kitchens site. I'm having trouble though. it's fine when i choose the cargo, orange, freight, us mail, but then when it asks how many pounds i'll carry, there's no way to arrow down or type the amount of pounds i'll carry. when i just press enter, it says you can't make a living on half a load, and again it asks me how many pounds will i carry. when i press the arrow keys, it just says and, percent or quote. So how do i choose the amount of pounds i'll carry? thanks,

Hi Wonderwoman.
You just have to type the ammount. It tels you how much the lymit is so i would say type as much as the limit is 400 if i remember right.
When there is a place where you need to type it says percent and things like that when you go up and down. It does it at the casino when you enter your bet. Up and down won't work.
Hope it helps.

I got it to work, yay. I'm not meant to be a truck driver, lol. I got 1 ticket, got caught in 2 towns for having ten thousand pounds over the limit, still had 600 or so miles to go at the time i was suppose to make the deadline, and it ended when i fell asleep at the wheel and lost all my profits, and there was a blizard, and i was going 25 miles an hour.

I asked Jim Kitchen about it and it seams to be a bug in the game. When there is a lisart you are likely to fell asleep on the wheel even if you had 8 hours of sleep before.
But i don't know if he is going to fix it.
I am glad that you got it to work.

well, everything has happened to me, a late schedule, bad weather, a drunk driver totaling my truck and losing my profits, and becoming bankrupt. I hope how you do on a game has nothing to do with how you'd be at something in real life, lol. I could've taken the southern route, where nothing ever happens, and if it were real life, and it was my first experience as a trucker, that's what i would've done, but thought it best to be somewhat of an adventurer.

I've played that game several times, and had it tell me several times without warning that I ran out of fuel, even though I would fill up practicly every chance I got. Has anyone else ever had this experience?

I think when you carry oranges the track still works even when you sleep to keep them cool so you need to refeel it when waking up.

I never had a problem. Always carry 40000 pounds or 35000.
